The Life Cycle of a Mushroom
キノコの生活環
Spectacular Science was a collaborative project between the University for the Creative Arts & the University of Kent which aimed to provide a wide audience with access to scientific knowledge and support the education of students in science subjects. The final animation was inspired by1920's animation such as the Silly Symphonies series and other early Walt Disney shorts.

Owl
アウル
A sequence of enigmatic dioramas set in the English countryside, "Owl" is a unique mixed-media creation. Blending CG visuals, infrared film photos, and marker pen sketches. This animation represents a collaborative effort between myself and Collectress, a UK-based musical quartet, resulting in an intriguing artistic synthesis.

LV21: Projection Mapping
LV21: プロジェクションマッピング
For my MA degree's culmination at UCA Rochester, I conceived a projection mapping installation aboard LV21, a retired lightship stationed at Gillingham Pier, UK. In collaboration with the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend, I integrated Morse code messages into animations, creatively intersecting visual art with radio communication education.

世界の創造
Over a period of ten consecutive week days, the students, staff & alumni of Ba Hons CG Arts & Animation were challenged to produce abstract digital paintings in synesthetic response to segments of music to be performed by the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne. The participants were asked to listen to a musical extract and then respond to it visually through the creation of original digital paintings in Photoshop. The animation was derived from these paintings and created using Autodesk Maya and After Effects.

Marie
マリエ
Channeling the experimental spirit of filmmakers like Marie Menken, I sought to evoke sensation and motion without rigid narrative or theme. Film's raw immediacy has always interested me, leading me to embrace unpredictability even in modern software. This animation's lights and camera effects were semi-randomly generated. I marveled at the peculiar beauty captured, naming this animation in Menken's honor.

A CG rendition of Hieronymus Bosch’s ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ produced as a student project while studying CG Arts and Animation at UCA Rochester.
